Thalassine Ltd is a charter office registered in Greece, with offices at 4 Akti Themistokleous, Piraeus 185 36 and Quai Antoine 1er, 98000 Monaco. We are the data controller for the information described here.

We collect only what a charter requires. In practice that means:

• Your name, email address and telephone number
• The dates, water and guest numbers you enquire about
• Preferences you choose to share — diet, allergies, ages of children
• Passport and identification details where a flag state or customs authority requires them
• Payment and billing details for charter fees and APA

To answer your enquiry, to prepare and perform a charter agreement, to meet customs, immigration and anti-money-laundering obligations, and to keep proper accounting records.

We do not build marketing profiles and we do not sell data to anyone.

Only those who need it to run your charter: the yacht's captain and crew, the central agent or owner's representative, port and customs authorities, and our payment and escrow providers.

We ask before passing your details to an owner or broker in connection with a specific yacht.

Enquiry correspondence is kept for two years. Charter contracts, invoices and related records are kept for ten years, as Greek and Monegasque accounting rules require. After that they are deleted.

You may ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Write to enquiries@thalassine.com and we will respond within thirty days.

You may also complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority if you believe we have handled your information badly.

Records are held on encrypted systems with access limited to the people in our office who need them. Payment details are handled by our banking and escrow partners and are not stored by us.
