Terms

The terms on which this website is published, and how they sit alongside the charter agreement that actually governs a booking.

01

These terms

This website is published by Thalassine Ltd, 4 Akti Themistokleous, Piraeus 185 36, Greece. By using it you accept the terms below. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

02

The site is not an offer

Nothing here is a binding offer of a yacht, a house, a date or a price. Availability changes daily and everything shown is subject to confirmation by us in writing.

03

Charters are governed separately

Every booking is made under a separate written charter agreement — usually on MYBA terms — between you and the yacht's owning company. Thalassine Ltd acts as charter agent. Where those terms and these differ, the charter agreement prevails.

04

Payment and funds

Charter fees and advance provisioning allowances are paid to a client or escrow account named in your agreement. We will never ask you to send funds to an account notified only by email without confirming the details with you by telephone.

05

Cancellation

Cancellation, postponement and force majeure are dealt with in the charter agreement, which will set out the schedule that applies to your booking. Where weather or a mechanical fault prevents a charter, we work with the owner to reroute or replace the yacht before any question of refund arises.

06

Our content

The text, drawings and marks on this site belong to Thalassine Ltd. You may read, print and share pages for your own use. You may not republish or use them commercially without our written permission.

07

Liability

We take care that what we publish is accurate, but we do not warrant that the site is free of error or always available. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site.

Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

08

Governing law

These terms are governed by Greek law, and the courts of Piraeus have jurisdiction. Charter agreements may specify a different forum, and where they do, that choice applies to the charter.
